Arjen Vonk: Business Unit Director

  • 19 October 2018

Arjen Vonk will become Offerman's new Business Unit Director per 1 January 2019. He succeeds Maarten Elsinga, who leaves Ter Beke and returns to Zwanenberg Food Group.

Arjen Vonk (49) joined Zwanenberg in 2015 and has been active in this organisation since the start of Offerman. He has a broad background and has worked in various roles at ING, Aldi and Essent, among others. In his new position Arjen will report to the CEO of Ter Beke, Francis Kint.

Offerman B.V. is the former fresh meat products division of Zwanenberg and was acquired by Ter Beke at the end of 2017. The company specialises in the production, slicing and packaging of fresh meat products. The company has branches in Almelo, Aalsmeer and Borculo.

Francis Kint, CEO of Ter Beke, says: "We are sorry that Maarten is leaving us. We thank him for the pleasant cooperation and his leadership in the integration of Offerman in Ter Beke. We wish him all the best at Zwanenberg. With Arjen we have the ideal successor on board. Arjen has a very relevant experience both within and outside our industry, including in the retail sector. He is currently leading a number of critical projects, such as the conversion of Offerman to the Ter Beke standard ERP system. I look forward to our cooperation and wish him well.
