Vegetable steak

Since 11 June, the vegetable steak from Vivera, which only uses plant-based ingredients such as wheat and soy, is available from most Dutch retailers, and from Carrefour in Belgium. Tesco was the first supermarket chain in the world to start selling the 100% plant-based steak in over 400 supermarkets in the United Kingdom. The first delivery of 40,000 pieces to Tesco sold out in no time. Vivera foresees a high demand in other European companies as well, so they are working hard on increasing their production.
